Founded in 2004, Ukarimu Ministries is a Christian mentorship and discipleship ministry committed to nurturing holistic growth among university students, couples, and families in Kenya. “Ukarimu” is a Swahili word meaning hospitality — a value that shapes our ministry, relationships, and community life as we seek to create spaces where people are welcomed, nurtured, and encouraged in their faith journey.
Through authentic relationships, mentorship, fellowship, counselling, leadership development, sports outreach, and practical life-skills training, we seek to help individuals grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and professionally. At the heart of the ministry is Ukarimu House which is a place of Christian community, learning, reflection, and mentorship where students and young adults are equipped to live out their faith with purpose and integrity.
Through programmes such as Praxis Fellowship, Residential internships, Marriage ministry, and Community outreach initiatives, Ukarimu Ministries exists to raise grounded leaders who will positively influence the Church and society. Our work is strengthened through partnerships with like-minded organisations and institutions including Daystar University, Lukenya Community Church, and Globalscope (Part of CMF International) — working together to mentor, disciple, and empower the next generation across Kenya and beyond.
